BR 2-01: Renovations

This story is just funny.  I often see many situations in which the main character experiences in the book. This story is similar to a famous story but both endings are totally different. The other one is happy ending and this story is...? Please read this book if you are interested in. You may read and enjoy this book easily. If I could get a lamp in which someone who make my wishes, I  ask for them to make myself become educated person. This is my only hope so far.

Reflections on Writing III

I learnt an important part of how to write English sentences. That was very new for me and it was hard for me to understand. The more I write articles , the more I improved English skills ,especially English grammar. Writing articles in English makes me write by using just my own skills not relying on a teacher. It is a kind of good experience for me. I tried to write articles with new words I learnt then. I may forget most of words used in my blog but when I see them again somewhere I could remember soon I hope. I was glad that the mood in the class was so nice sometimes some students are a little annoying. In classes , I was writing new articles or editing what I had written before.

Big Earthquake in Japan

One day , a day came when big earthquake happened. At the same time it happened , many people  worried  that big tsunami happen next. Unfortunately Guess of them was completely right. When they happened , I was watching them on TV , and I thought they were small potato and Japanese government manage to deal with them soon. My idea was very stupid. It was definitely not. There were many scary visions about the earthquake. The most impressive ision I saw were that many cars were hit by tsunami and went into the sea. They looked very small car like toy cars. After watching them , my family members were scared of them. I had never thought such a thing really happen in real world before they happened. I have watched such disasters in movies , but I have never thought about them seriously.I becam scared of them. Theyaffected many things. Japanese economy was suddenly down. Because Nuclear plants broke down completely , they should be repaired soon. It was really hard to do it with latest technology. TECOM use nuclear plants to supply people with a lot of electrocity, but they don't know how to control them perfectly. That's why bad subtance from nuclear plants leaked and the comanpy have been being blamed for it.

I think all of people hope that they will never happen in the future.I also hope so, but I learned two important things  because of the disasters . First People have to spend their life enjoying them. We don't know when disasters , or something dangerous happen. If they don't enjoy their lives, they feel stressful when disasters happen again and they may kill themselves. Second , we can cooperate with each other whenever we need help. I thought I live in a team in the world. The UN have been helping Japan recover from the disaster. Americanmilitary also help to clean out the debris. They do so under the strategy called helping friends. because of them, Various things ended more than critics expected. Many people around the world contributed much money to the disaster areas. Contribution of  Lady Gaga was unique. She held a big concert in which she requested that Fans buy wrist bands which were cheap. Although the wrist bands were cheap , much money gathered because many fans buy them. Japanese entertainment did their best to support disaster victims.I don't remember when a piece of infomation was reported , but this was that much money have been collected but they couldn't be offered till they are decided how much money are offered per one person or one family. The Japanese entertainers decided not to contribute money to the disaster victimes. They tried to offer them foods, bedclothing. While some popular entertainers decided to do so , president of a company decided to contribute 10billion yen totally by the day of his retirement.

The disasteres have affected Japan very badly. TV program kept broadcasting boring TV programme for some time. This was because TV programme producer cared about the disaster victims. As a result, it was not good for Japanese economy. They have not become able to earn money by doing it. Mass media also worried about them, but they try not to stop publishing fun articles. I think People look forward to entertainments or something fun whatever happen around them.

Altershock has been continuing in the disaster areas, but the disaster victimes are very patient and they can deal with them supported by people. As long as they live, they can do something to live. I want to support them someday. I have to become an educated person to help them. It may be hard for me to do that so, but it is not impossible.

I think it is hard for me to care about disaster victimes because I have never experienced such things. Though I said that I was scared of them above, the disaster victimes were more scared of them because they experienced the disaster. It is easy just to say what I want to do for them, but it is very hard to do what I want to do. I don't think I can help them till I grow up.

When evrything is recovered, they would be happy and live with hope. I am looking forward to the day.

Today's topic is a kind of serious thing. i will be faced with such things in the future then I can do. It depends on who I would be. I want to dicuss it with my friends in English.

English Grammar and Open Campus

Before I went to open campus of KGU with my friend , I studied English grammar. I learned how to use can , could , must and shall in English. Recently I am studying English in English. A textbook of English grammar I am using is written in English. When I was a high school student , I studied English grammar very much. I just only studied it. I had believed that English grammar is the most important to use English before I noticed that I should study English using all skills like writing , speaking , listening , reading. When I started to study English, all of materials I used were explained in Japanese. 

It was easy for me to study English grammar. Now I think it was not enough to make me to understand how to use English grammar or understand real meaning of English written or spoken. I often make many grammatical mistakes , but I had been confident before I started to use the textbook. I had known how to use can in just only one way before i . When I use can , I had used it as a replacement of be able to.That's why when I want to say that I have ability to swim , I am able to swim or I can swim. It sounds like they have same meaning for me , but it's not true. What I learnt  

 today is subtle difference of nuance. I don't have to care it if what I want to do is just to communicate with native speakers simply not deeply. I want to understand what they say truly. It is the biggest dream I want to come true in progress of my English skills. Anyway I became able to 

understand a little how to use them. I wonder when I can understand simple English. I am going to continue studying English till I can do that.

After that , I went to the very enjoyable event, open campus. It was held on 31st July. There had        

already been many people in KGU before I cam there. I saw  high school students or adults consulting professors about KGU. They looked very serious. I was not like them when I was third year high school student. I wanted to become a university student. I didn't have any plan what subjects I major in university. I was going to a technical school of English to which people go for only two years. I didn't want to go to a school or university only for two years. I have had a plan. It is secret though.Anyway , people consulting was very serious and professors also answered their questions seriously in students cafeteria. It was the time of lunch At the time when I and my friend arrived there.. I noticed soon that many people were in a row for foods. They were visitors of KGU open campus. I wasn't like them , but I wanted to eat lunch for free. Fortunately , I found a woman who is a senior student in English department and have part time job in KGU as a assistant of classes. I asked her how I can eat foods. She gave me a pamphlet in which there was a ticket. I could eat foods by replacing the ticket with foods. After replacing, I went to English lounge. There were more people than usual. I'was glad to see so many people. Although they looked nervous coming in English lounge , they were very eager for studying English and interested 

 in it . A girl was impressive for me. The girl was alone in English lounge. She tried to talk to me in English. I thought she couldn't speak English well just like me , she looked she wanted to get something important to decide her future. I wanted responded her attitude , but I don't know how well I could respond it. There were some English lounge staff members as KGU staff members then. They looked very hard explaining why English lounge is in KGU. They explained about it very understandably. Also a professor was there. He introduced some visitors about me when I was there when I was eating lunch. It is strange isn't it? Usually , People who eat during open campus were visitors or people wearing red polo shirts. I was not wearing red polo shirt but a visitor. They were surprised that I am a student of KGU and was not a staff member, and was eating lunch. All of people I talked were very friendly and eager. I was looking forward to seeing them next year when they get in KGU. 

As a result, I thought I should have visited KGU before I decided which university I go. Open campus was very nice and all of staff members of it were also nice. If I can be a staff member of it next year , I will do.

From Period Of Part Time Job Of Yesterday To Today ( Sequel )

We went to Ezu lake. Actually I didn't explain about the shape of it. It consists of two parts which are extremely different. At first, one part is bigger, more dirty, less people than the other part. The other part is we wanted to go.Because Ezu lake is so huge, I couldn't navigate my friend correctly, and we got lost to even just go to the simple destination. That's why we became bored more and more. He suggested me that we go to a Zoo and Botanical garden fast. As our plan, we were going to go there after having caught some creature at Ezu lake. We could go there easily. Probably, he already knew the way to the Zoo and Botanical garden even though I navigated him with my cell phone. He looked very happy when we arrived there. It was very hot and I was reluctant to go into it
 because I imagined that we have to walk long way to see many animals without fun but sweating a lot. I tried to suggest him that we stop to enter but I couldn't do it. He was so happy. After entering there , there was a boring vision which was a few people were and facility looked very out of date. Almost of all facilities were old with rusty. I didn't think some of attractions met safety standards. I mean they are dangerous if adults ride with their. children, but my friends suggested me to ride them, I said no quickly without hesitation. He looked a little bit sad. Fast we saw carps at very dirty pond. I said that I wonder why carps can live in so dirty pond. there is a man who is a staff member of the facility. He was staring at me while I was saying it. I heard it from my friends after he had gone somewhere. I did bad thing. I didn't mean to annoy him. After seeing them, we saw horses. they looked very tired and didn't do anything. They were just lying on the ground. There was the man next place we went. There was a flock of sheep with the man. The man looked mad at me, but he talked to me very friendly. We could touch them. They were  very calm and they looked very hot. After that, we had nothing to watch and just walked around. While we were walking around, we found a bulletin board on which a notice was put The notice announced that visitors can contact with hamsters at 13:30. It was 13:00. when we saw it. I was dying because I was so thirsty, but my friend were very glad with it. That's why we went to a place to contact with them. The place was heaven for us. There was air condition in it. I recovered. Although we had to wait standing to contact them, it was worth having done so. My fiend suddenly remembered that we didn't see any popular animals like lions , giraffes , gorillas , monkeys and so on. We tried to find them. We found the place they are and the place are close to the place we were. I was impressed with elephants. They were bigger than I expected and they looked very stiff. My friend was also amazed that the elephants are so big. He  tried to take pictures of them calling them loudly. I think all of pictures of them are not good because at the time he tried to take pictures, they moved around. After that, we went to see lions, tigers, gorillas. There were them there, but we couldn't see them clearly. It was boring ,but there were very small monkeys from rainforest close to them. They were very cute and pretty. They touched my fingers
 and they wouldn't leave my fingers. I was impressed with very much. I had never experienced such a thing before that. I want to show you how pretty they were. I have no pictures of them though.

 After we enjoy there, we finally went to Ezu lake. When we arrived there, I thought I should have bought a swimming wear at Youmetown and more net for my friend. We couldn't enjoy Ezu lake and I was injured there. In Ezu, there was not any good memories except for having been able to see some cute girls.

When we were on the way to my home, we bought some lunch at MacDonald's with drive through. It is first time that I ordered items with drive-through. I thought it was more hard to order items in the way than to order in person.

I suggest you to go to the Zoo and Botanical garden with friends, parents, boyfriend, girlfriend,anybody. Please don't go there alone. It maybe makes you feel sad. Anyway you can get something good there.

From Period Of Part Time Job Of Yesterday To Today ( Prequel )

Yesterday, I made a contract employee mad by forgetting routine procedure of moving money. He is very strict about how to treat money. The procedure is that: fast staff members have to check     money matched to amount of money customers have to pay. Second they have to move the money closely in front of them and check again very carefully. Third input the digits of the money with machine staying the money in front of them. Finally, after customers go away, they can put the money into the cash drawer. All of things to do during the procedure have to be done with smile. I made a very small mistake. That is that I did the procedure till third step correctly without smile because I was tired , while a few people work with. I mean a few was not enough at that time. I think around 4 to 5 people should have been there. That's why I had to work behind a cash register even though I had things to do. A few people including the contract employee didn't care about things I had to do. If I hadn't finished the things on time, I would make customers wait and receive claims from them and the staff members who worked yesterday. Although staff some staff members don't care about the most important job of mine, they claim me doing things important just for them. They usually make items which were bought from customers into merchandise.It is a kind of very important thing, but my work is also a kind of important thing. Because I didn't agree on their work, I was also mad at the contract employee, so I ignored what he was saying. He became mad at me more and more. I tried to say things I want them to do while I do important things, but I couldn't . He is not part time worker. He is a kind of superior. I understood then that I have to work in forced environment. I should not be mad at him. Japanese traditional culture, vertical society is completely stupid culture. It is better that people can say anything without hesitation. After I was warned not to forget to put the money into cash register, I ignored him at the beginning of a break. I'm sorry for my behavior for him though.

The day, today  has come. I planned to go to Ezu lake which is very attractive for me. In Ezu lake, there are many creatures like fish, yabby , and so on. They interest my curiosity.Before going there, I went to Youmetown with my friend to buy swimming wear and a net with a short stick to catch creatures.Youmetown is a big shopping mall compared to other shops. When I arrived there, I suddenly changed my mind whether to buy swimming wear. Finally I didn't buy a swimming wear, but I bough a net. After buying it, because he wanted to go to a place for a long time, we went there. Every time we go to Youmetown, we go to the place to try to get an valuable item. It is that I can't say here.He has never got it ever before though. Today he has challenged a thing four times or five times to try to get it. He was very eager for it. He looked very serious. So great eagerness of  him that is very rare and I have never seen like who he was while he takes classes. He said that he would try to get it next time when we  come with a smile of pride. He looked he was looking forward to it soon like a children. Next we went to a great place, KGU. There I had an appointment with a professor to see during lunch time. Unfortunately I couldn't see her because I and my friend didn't have enough time to wait her. I am going to the professor someday at her earliest convenience. Actually, while waiting her in front of faculty building, I saw another professor. He is important teacher for me in one way. I asked him whether I could get a credit of a lecture given by him. He said no comment in a funny mood. I thought he suggested good result.

Today I was going to try to write about things impressive and surprisins, but I will write it in next article.

The way to spend university life

There are many ways to spend university. They vary from people to0 people. A university life of a person  is good or bad for him/her ,but it is a just result. Now we are spending the time. Today I will about an article about the ways to spend the time.

A friend of mine spend the time with his friends all the time. In his case, his friends are most important for him. When he is asked to study with friends, he doesn't try to refuse even if he has something to do because friends are important for him. That's because he doesn't have enough time to be alone. Sometimes he says to me that he wants to be alone. I know what he thinks. He is too kind of his friends that he can't care himself. Because he had get a drivers' license, he has increased opportunities to go out and hang out with friends including me. He has become a kind of driver around him. When his friends are faced with going somewhere because of lack of transportation, they
 ask him to do so. It's not good, but he is kind of them to take them somewhere they want to go.I don't whether his life is good or bad. Most important thing is whether he is satisfied with his life. I don't care his life if he is satisfied with it, but if he is getting tired of his life, I want to make his life enjoyable.In his university life, I think, he has other things,more important thing, not hanging out with friends.

In my case, I like to spend the time with studying some subjects I want to know more. Recently I have been interested in the united nations. I will write about how interesting UN is later in more detail later though. I am often alone in KGU. When I want to talk to friends of mine, I go to English Lounge. They talk to me friendly. i often talk about, I don't know why though, how to study English.
Many people who come to English have problems which are, for example, their TOEFL score by the dead line of examination to decide which students are suitable for studying abroad. Although I can't advise them about it, I can talk about a process of my English skills like how I could get over 900 on TOEIC test. TOEIC and TOEFL are not different,but it is similar because they are made by same company, ETS. I'm not sure that something I talk about to them is that information they want. Sometimes, a friend of mine says that My talk is beneficial for her English progress. I think is is a compliment,but it encourages me to talk about it more. It is vicious circle. Anyway I am satisfied with current my life very much especially now. I have many things I want to do and have to do. Something I have do to is annoying but it gives me much knowledge.Also something I want to do is very informative. I have enough time to be alone and to study some subjects compared to a friend introduced above.

In most of people's case, in KGU, there is a kind of stupid rule that is all of freshmen have to become a member of a circle.On the day of circle introduction, unless they decide which circle they join, they can't get out of KGU. If they try to get out there without joint of circle, they are forced to stay in KGU. Some looking scary guys wait them in front of entrance. They are absolutely scary for freshmen. I tried to get out without it. Unfortunately I couldn't, but I could get
a piece of very important information without becoming a circle member that is I have to have a short length of rope. This is because I had got the information, I tried to talk to a man I didn't know at all. He looked like a sophomore and had the rope. As a result, I could get and get out of KGU. Most of people like circle activities. Sometimes I ask people to hang out but they refuse because of scheduling conflict between schedule of circle activities and my suggestion. They look forward to Wednesday. They are the days of circle activities. According to my friends, they sometime fall in love with people in their circle club. It is very attractive isn't it?

All of people belonging to university have their university life. They are very important pieces of their life. They can't be wasted.

AKB48

This article of title is the name popular singer group in Japan. In the group, all of members are girls. Those who are in the group had to take interview. The number of people are 48 members,but when they are on TV, most of times they can't be on TV altogether because of the size of place where they perform. Their age is close to my age, around 20. The highest age people in this group were 25. They are gone,but fortunately they can continue to sing on TV. It is because producer of AKB48 is so kind of members.AKB stands for AKIBA,and AKIBA also stands for AKIHABARA. It is pretty hard for people who don't know Japan at all to understand though. 48 means the number of people in the group. I don't know when, but when they had started their performance, they were popular for Otaku
who like idles very much. It is hard to define otake who they are or they do because each of otaku do various things. Anyway, in this article, otaku are people who like idles very much.First, AKB48 members couldn't sing on TV even though the producer has strong right for TV.I think It was easy for producer to make the members be on TV, but he didn't. I think he tries make all of members become strong to survive in severe entertainment environment. Especially entertainment environment like a job which people are on TV  are hard to continue to be on TV,so all of entertainer should do their best all the time. That's why members of AKB48 are just not only pretty but having an ability to make people fun.

AKB48 members are too many for me to remember all of their members. I remember  a couple of names. The names are very popular,and even old people know the names. When I often talk to my friends about AKB48, I can't catch up with them. I sometime feel annoyed with talking about them. Actually, I don't like to them very much , but they are excellent. I have to admit. I sometimes think that they are so popular now even though they had not been popular at the beginning of their debut. They have kinds attractive points. They are 48  members. Although they are not beautiful very much, they are not fat and too slight. I think Otaku don't have tendency for their loving women. I mean that they like standard women or girls. Popularity of AKB48 spreaded rapidly in Otaku world.

They affect a lot of varieties of people. Regardless of sex, generation, region in Japan, they are well known as just AKB48 not each of their name. Two erections have been held to decide which members are popular so far. The erection is very good idea to make much money. We don't have rights to vote them until we buy a CD in which there is a ballot paper. Otaku are so funny. They hope that their loving member is the most popular in the members, so they buy a lot of CDs and vote many times. That's why CDs sold very well. This way is not environmentally good because after they collected ballot paper from many CDs, and they became just junk.Is it good? I don't think so.

AKB48 is becoming a member of Top musicians in Japan. It has not come the day when AKB48 is on TV recently. It is inevitable to watch them on TV. I don't remember their name though. Some friends of mine like AKB48. When a friend of mine take me to home, he always listens to the songs sung by AKB48. I don't want to listen to them anymore. It is because I am often led to whistle after listening to them all the way from college. I suggested to him that we listen to other genres of music like american pop,Korean pop,or other singers' songs. I'd rather listen to pop songs except for AKB48 songs.He denied to listen to other songs. He is so stubborn that He wouldn't accept my suggestion at all.

In the future, AKB48 could become unpopular decreasingly because of scandals of them. They are
 annoying for me recently. I think some people also think so. That's why or other reasons a drama featured a member of AKB48 is not popular at all.
