BR2-16: Dad and Dan GO Camping

I like this book. I think family is the most important and smallest society in human society. As this book's title shows, this book's main story is about camping which Dan's dad and Dan goes. They have good relationship with each other. I'm jealous of them because I don't have good relationship with my father. I often feel annoyed with him and try not to talk to him by staying my room for a long time. I usually see family members for an hour totally in one day. I don't think this period is good. I know I should communicate with family members,but there is just only simple reason why I hesitate to talk totem. That is I'm shy. From 15 years old, I have been shy and had tendency not to communicate with someone new.

Because of this book, I remembered many memories with my fathers. My father used to take me fishing and tell me how to fish. When I was taught such things, I was bored with them and didn't want to go fishing. Looking back the memories, I neglect not enjoying the time with father.

This book is one of series of BUZZ which is so interesting and make people not be able to stop reading once they get interested. Attractive point of this book is main two characters which are all unique. When they try to solve something dangerous seriously, they can't solve it and their intention cause opposite effect. 

I don't know why they travel around the universe but I think they like to travel. When they do something, they argue each other,but they look they like each other. It makes me remember a memory which happened 9 years ago. I was a 10 year old elementary school student nine years ago. Then I was aggressive and used to often go out with one of my friends who used to be the closest friend.I don't know what he is doing now but I have never forgotten him. This books told me how important friends are.

 This book is one of series of 'BUZZ and ZIP' books. All of these stories series are interesting and make me remember something. As this title shows, there are two main characters and they travel around the universe. They are completely ugly. If I had an opportunity to see them, I would get unconscious. 

I think they are brave. Even though they don't know the direction they have to go, they travel around the universe.All they know is just the place they have to go. They get into trouble on the way to the destination. Actually I don't think they get into on the way to the destination because they don't know the direction to the destination. What they do seems funny but if I had such friends, I would get angry soon and wouldn't want to be with them. I don't have any friends who get lost more often than me. I am not good at remembering the direction.

BR2-13: Renovations

I this the story of this book is famous for Japanese people. When I was a children, I watched a video called Alladin whose story is similar to the story of this book. This story is interesting and makes me imagine the situation in which the story of main character is. If I were him, I would do something dynamic,destroy the world,save the environment around the world.It makes my brain make the most.

Though the story of this book is similar to alladin's story, ending is different. This is a kind of interesting point and I want you to pay attention to it.

When I watched the story first time, I didn't understand the story because English in this book is a little bit difficult. In the future, I want to read the book easily and understand smoothly.

BR2-12: TIME TRAVEL:SHIP AHOY!

In this story, a travel of two aliens is mainly treated. The two aliens are funny. When they are faced with a serous problem, they try to solve it in a serious way,but they can't do it. They travel around the universe. Though I have never experienced to travel around the universe like them, I have experienced a trip in which I was faced with problems.When I went to kinawa prefecture fast time, I couldn't arrive the airport in time for the departure time. Fortunately, I didn't have to care about such a thing there. Inhabitant in Okinawa prefecture were kind and merry.It made me want to go there again in the future. I have never been there after that though.

I think trip is a kind of nice experience. It is better to go overseas than go around in Japan. After going overseas, people have much knowledge and generousty. It means that when they meet foreign people, they can probaly communicate with them more fluently than the other people who have never experienced before.

This book doesn't tell us how to travel but how to spend the time during the travel in which some problems happen.

BR 2-11: Shark!

Have you ever watched jaws which was produced by a famous film director,  Steven Spielberg. The movie shows us a real horror of shark and tells us to prevent ourselves from going to the sea.

In this book, there are two boys,who enjoy surfing ,while something seeming dangerous is happening.

I often watch TV and many TV programmes show how dangerous natural animals are. They are probably dangerous,but I think they are cool. 

I have never experienced danger in the sea. That's why I have never thought that the sea is dangerous. The danger of sea happens from the laziness of people.

Next time I go to the sea, I try to concentrate on just swimming and being cautious about flow of the sea. Please be cautious when you go swimming to the sea and have fun.

I think most of people tend to want to show new items they have bought fast time to their friends when they are young. In this story, a main character do the almost same thing as I introduced above.

When I was an elementary student, I couldn't buy anything enough and felt stressful. Many friends around me were bought many items they wanted by their parents. I was jealous of them all the time.

I remember even now that I could use whatever I wanted to use by borrowing them from my friends. 

Although I was jealous of them, they were kind to me.

In this story, a main character,who is a girl shows an item. This story seems similar to my story considering what I say ' In this story, a main character,who is a girl shows an item.', but something impressive happens in the end. I hope it makes you impressed and it is useful to your life.

BR 2-09: The Chalk Circle

There are one police woman and two girls in this book. The police woman's idea is very unique and sensible. One day, a theft happened. one girl was shocked by the theft because one of her belongings      

were stolen by someone. The other woman got a valuable item suddenly and used it in front of the shocked girl. 

When I was in a elementary school, thefts often happened. I couldn't believe so many thefts and was disappointed with them. I wanted to solve the problem, but I couldn't do it. As a result I graduated from the school as usual like nothing had happened.

I think although the case in this book is rare, the police woman's idea to solve the problem is nice and makes sense in any ways.

BR 2-08: THE Inventors' CLUB

I went to a high school which is famous for industrial products and in which many students are interested in component of product, for example, air plane, car, motor bike and so on.

Actually, I was not one of them,but I was interested in making something simple,not complicated.

In high school, I had to make things and learn about something technical. It was so hard for me to continue to study all of them. I gave up studying them and started to concentrate on studying English with no particular reason one day.

I think language is a kind of invention by many people. Before the time when no language was, mankind made sounds and communicated with each other. I guess it was hard for them to give and receive information because the way to communicate was delusive.

In this story, a woman is main character and one man is mean to her. He is a troublemaker. The story begins with them.

BR 2-07: Mercury and the Woodcutter

This story is even famous in Japan. I think if readers,especially Japanese don't understand sentences in the book grammatically, it's not a problem. They can understand contents because they have heard the story before.

The story tells people that they should be honest. When I was younger, I used to be told off by parents and told to be honest with this story.

In my opinion, being honest is easy and nice. When I do something wrong or making people angry, I am always honest. If I was not honest and said a lie again and again to protect myself, I would be told off more and more.

In this story, there are mainly three characters. They have typical characteristic each other. After reading the story, I thought I didn't want to be one of them,who were the worst person in the story.

This story remind me of importance of honesty. You should read it.

Essays 2-03a: Language learning histories

When I was a junior high school student, most of Japanese people started to study English when they were junior high school students , while I didn't study any of the subjects during the time of life. Fortunately, I had an opportunity to be interested in English, which was to communicate with ALT(Assistant Language Teacher ). I met three of the ALTs in the junior high school. The fast ALT was so strict during classes that I couldn't think that English was fun. The second teacher was almost the same as the first teacher. The final teacher was totally different from others,who came from Scottland and she was beautiful. I wanted to communicate with her. Unfortunately, a combination of my shyness and lack of my English ability made me not be able to talk to her. I was so irritated with myself. I had to graduate from the junior high school.

After graduating there, I worked at a supermarket for the almost all of  high school life. One day, I was working there as usual and feeling tired. I looked around and saw a beautiful woman, who was the ALT in the junior high school. I talked to her and she looked that she didn't remember me and was annoyed with my terrible English skill especially speaking skill. I was so shocked that she looked that,but I was happy to have been able to see her again.

Because I knew that I could see her some time at my work place, I was pushed to study English. I asked some of the English teacher in my high school. They were kind to me. One of them suggest me that I should use a English grammar textbook. I didn't understand the contents of the book fast time because I hadn't even known how to use be verb before I started to study English eagerly when I was second year hugh school student. The more I read the text book, the more interested in reading I was. After studying English for some months, I tried to talk to her and I could talk to her a little. It made me study English more.

Because she was an ALT of the junior high school, she had to go back to her country. When I noticed that, I was so shocked that I tried to write a letter to her. As a result, I didn't write a letter and even say good bye. Sometimes I look back the meory and the teacher. I want to see her if she is alive.

I have continued to study English for almost 4 years since 2008. I didn't know what was suitable for my English abilities and I studied English with a textbook explaining difficult examinations. Even now, it may be difficult for me to understand. I got information about EIKEN(an English examination which is a kind of famous examination in Japan and is often used for criteia of entrance of high school in Japan and forign countries) when I was third year student in high school. One of teachers told me to take EIKEN pre-2nd but I wanted to try higher level, EIKEN 2nd and I did. Unfortunately, I failed to pass it two times. I passed EIKEN pre-1st some weeks ago and I am studying English for EIKEN 1st now.

I have ever learnt English by talking 0to many people in English. It was hard for me to talk in English when I try do it fast. When I was a first year student of KGU, I had never talked to foreigners in English and I couldn't communicate with them smoothly.

After studying an English textbook named 'grammar in use', which is famous for Japanese international students who go to America, Canada and Australia, I could have confidence, It encouraged me to talk to people in English. I tried to talk to an English teacher. He talked to me slowly and when I had trouble with part of what he said, he helped me understand it explaining about with easy English. The more I talked to him, the more I came to feel like talking to many people.

One day, I noticed that I didn't have enough vocabulary to talk enjoyably. That's why I started to build up vocabularies. I wanted to get many words efficiently and unforgettably. I looked for ways to do it. I asked some of professors in English department. One of them suggested me that I do it remembering route of English words. Because history of English language is related to France and Latin, many words in English come from these languages. She gave me a pile of paper which were printed from internet. I didn't know anything about the contents on the paper and what i should do with the paper. I gave up building vocabulary with the paper soon.


After studying English for TOEIC for almost a year, I wanted to study English for another thing and enrich my vocabulary and get abundant

Esssay 2-02b: Robin Hood

Probably many people recognize Robin Hood as a famous person, but the origin of it is from an animal, a fox that worked with a bear, Little John. Robin Hood and Little John were good at stealing many things from the rich. After that they gave them to the poor. Because of Robin's actions, he was regarded as a hero by the poor, while he was regarded as annoying fox by the rich. There was a reason why they were good at stealing money. It was because they were also good at disguise.

One day,  they stole something worthy from a king who loved money very much. The king rules a place in which people were forced to pay much money and it made them difficult to live. While they were struggling to live in the severe environment, Little John and Robin Hood appeared to help them. Robin Hood pretended to be a augur, who stared at someone’s hands and said their future. While he pretended, he stole much money and distributed money around the town. Little John also worked as a guardsman of Robin Hood. As a result, it made people happy and the king annoyed.

There was a very cute girl in a castle. Her name was Marian which was also fox. She and Robin Hood loved each other  for a long time. They couldn’t see for a long period. That’s why she felt that he didn’t love her or forget her existence, but it was not true and he loved her. Marian had a close friend, Crack which supported their lovely relationship.

One day, Robin Hood heard about a rumor that a shooting competition had been going to be held. As a result, he could attend it and win. This competition was held to attract him by King who hated Robin.The king knew that Robin would win the competition before it was held and he tried to catch Robin after the competition,but he could escape from the king because of support of many people who lived in the country and loved Robin.

Robin’s action reminded me of a phrase said by Mother Teresa. She said: ‘if you want to be loved, you have to love. This phrase is applicable to his action. Actually, he didn’t hope that he was loved,but he was nice and as a result he was loved and he made many people happy. When he was in danger, he was helped by many people who loved or were grateful for Robin’s action. Robin did something morally right but he did something illegally wrong. That’s why I can decide whether what  he did was cool or not. 

We like this movie. We could learn about something we didn’t know and remind me of what justice is. Recently, I am studying the UN. The UN stands for the united nations which is one of the biggest organization to keep the world piece. I think the UN seems similar to Robin’s action because the organization tries to help many people improve their lifestyle and other many things,but there is a totally different point between the UN and Robin’s action which is that he did something for many people with courage and he didn’t expect any return from them,while the UN try to help people and developed countries develop more and earn more money. I sometimes forget what is right and wrong morally. I think I should do something morally right even it is thought to be bad from the vision of many people. I recommend that many people should watch this movie. Especially I want  this movie to be watched by teenagers. Teenagers have lived more than ten years and they have  opinions about what justice is. This movie gives them an opportunity to consider it again.

 When I meet someone new first time, I feel nervous and I regard them as a bad person or good person with just first impression. I know this is not good way to communicate with people but this is kind of instinct I think.

In this book, as title shows, a wolf was featured. The wolf was being afraid of by people and some people spread a rumour that the wolf is dangerous and people should stay away from it. This was totally lie and it was suffering to live.

One day, a man who was brave went to the place where the wolf lived.

 Unless people live in a society, people may experience first impression. Sometimes they regard other people as someone they imagine and are regard by other people like they do.

This book remind readers that people shouldn't regard someone or something with fast impression.

When people buy something they have to share to use with other people, they have to make a decision considering all of people's opinion. I think  most of times people make such a decision, some of people give up their opinions.

When my family members wanted to buy a TV set, we argued for a long time, because we had opinions each other and tried to carry on them.
Finally, my father got angry and my mother ordered it on the internet hiding it from us. After getting it, we were pleased that the TV set we got was nice.

In this book, a family was featured and they tried to buy a car all of them like.
 It was exactly hard for them to decide which one was best for them, but they consider eagerly.
Finally.... I can't tell the next. Please read this book.

Essay 2-01b: My Favourite Place

I'd like to introduce my favourite place, the English Lounge. There is a lounge called English Lounge in 1st building of
KGU. Many people especially KGU students or graduate students often go
there and talk to each other in English. Sometimes most of them talk to
each other in Japanese. It's not good thing in English Lounge because
English Lounge *exist to improve people's abilities of English. If
people don't try to speak English in English Lounge, existence of English lounge is completely nonsense.


There
are many activities to do in English lounge. What people do in English
lounge is not only talking to each other but also giving presentations
about international students' countries, watching movies, holding
parties like Halloween party and Christmas party. This semester,
because of most of international students coming to English lounge, it
makes easier for some Japanese to come there. I want more students to
come to English lounge but it is difficult for me to gather just only
students who are interested in English.[Is this the end of a paragraph?

I think when some students hear what
the English Lounge is, they may come to English even if they don't
like English very much. I want students who are interested in English to
come to English lounge.


In
English Lounge, there is a workshop called [the] TOEIC workshop. I am a
host of that workshop. The aim is to improve our English skills and
TOEIC *score by doing something fun. I held it on 14th October. A few
people came and looked eager. I was so impressed with their attitude and
I had misunderstood that there had been no person who wants to study English
for TOEIC. The most crowded time in English lounge is lunch time.
Everyone is free during lunch time and they look relaxed. I often go
there during lunch time. When I go there then, I watch promotion videos
on youtube and see some of international students and talk to them .


The most enjoyable activity in English is event held regularly such as Halloween party. This year, it is going to be held on 25th October from 6:30. The good point is free. Every student can attend it for free. Even if people have no money, they can enjoy it.

I think English lounge is the best place to improve English skills in KGU enjoying using English. Now English skills are required more many field around the world than in the past. I think KGU students might as well come to English Lounge and get used to English and interaction with many people who are new for them.

Experience of Part time job

I have worked three kinds of part time jobs so far. When I was a high school student , I decided to work a part time job. At first, I had to make a resume. I didn't know what to write down on it. I wrote some qualifications and my background. After I wrote them , I have the resume showed. I was pointed out some points. The points were that words I wrote were terrible and it was hard to understand sentences. That's why I rewrote the resume two times or three times. I took a book in which there are some pieces of information about jobs . I thought I could get a job easily , but it is not true. I took an interview of job at KFC in Youmetown shopping mall. The interviewer of KFC was a man . He looked strong. and he asked some questions. I was asked why I chose the job. I had no reason why. I said that I love KFC products. He laughed at what I said and he continues the interview. Finally , I waited for calling about whether I could get the job or not. I couldn't get the job . First interview is the worst interview I have taken so far.

After I receive a result , I took other jobs' interviews ,but I failed all of them. I wondered why I couldn't get a job. One day my mother suggested me that I take interview of a supermarket. According to her , the job of the supermarket looked easy and enjoyable. At the moment I was considering whether I applied for it , she suddenly called it and gave me a phone. I was very surprised with that and got angry. I remember a day clearly. During the phone conversation , the day of an interview was decided and the day was a day I had to take some tests at high school. I had to take tests till 17:00 o'clock and the interview was supposed to start at 17:00 o'clock. I noticed that I couldn't do  either one. I begged an examiner of the tests to finish them more quickly than planned. The examiner was generous and kind of me . He said that once I answered all of questions , I could go home. I finished the tests within 20 minutes from 16:00 o'clock. I left the school leaving some friends of mine without saying good bye because I was in a hurry. I could arrive at the supermarket on time. In the interview , I had to take test to measure how well I could calculate  some simple questions. It was difficult for me to do that. After I took it , the boos of supermarket asked nothing. He just wanted me to take the test. As a result , I could get the job. I felt very happy by just getting a part time job. I had never felt such a feeling before.

I could work there wearing school uniform. First day of the part time job , I went there wearing school uniform. I felt very nervous. Everything I do was the first time. The most complicated thing
I felt was greeting customers with a loud voice and smile. I couldn't do it at all. I made colleagues angry by not doing it. I couldn't do what I could't. I got used to it day by day. I could enjoy working there and talk to customers who often came there affably. They were kind of me and sometimes bought me some snacks hiding from my boss. I was encouraged to their actions to continue working part time job. I would have continued the part time job without them. There were some annoying customers who often asked me to call my boss. I often caused trouble by doing stupid things. Now I appreciate all of customers and bosses. I worked there for two years and sometimes go there. When I go there , I talk to previous colleagues and remember some memories what I did during part time job. I don't miss the part time job , but if I have opportunity to work there again , I want to work there smiling.

Although I am working at another place , it is also very nice place to work. Sometimes I get angry, but most of times I feel happy because of my colleagues. The most important thing during part time is communicating with people , especially customers friendly not to get angry them.

Cellphone

One summer day when I was a junior high school student , I went to a restaurant to be celebrated on my retirement of table tennis club. There were about 20 members in the club. the restaurant is distant from my home ,and it was unlikely that people aged 15 can walk from my home to the restaurant on foot. Unfortunately I did. I was going to go there with my friends by bicycle but my bicycle had been burst. That's why I went there not preventing my body from ultraviolet. It is hard for me to imagine how hard it was . I don't want to even imagine it. Actually there was another way to go there me being bothered to go there if I had have a cellphone. I wanted to have a cellphone all the time. I asked my parents to buy it many times and made them angry. I came up with an idea. That was that I asked them to buy cellphone because I needed to contact some people like them when I was in somewhere there was no public phone. My parents looked annoyed what I said but fortunately I was bought a cellphone. I just wanted to be bought a cellphone ,so I didn't care functions of cellphone. At that time , there were many 1yen cellphone. They were almost free themselves.

The cellphone I got first time looked  out dated even that time. It was thicker than any other cellphones. This was because a hard disc drive was in it. I could download many pieces of music and save them. Usually , people who uses other cellphones can't do such a thing. It was a kind of advantage of the cellphone. There were other advantages. It had big buttons to put. it was easy for me to put and send e-mail messages, I could make the most this function when I bought some pairs of shoes on the internet. Some shoes I wanted were sold at one shop. Although the pairs of shoes were very rare and attractive for sneaker fans , I had to put my information quickly and then I could make some purchases. Because of this function , I was able to some pairs of shoes and I have them even now.

One day , I didn't become able to use some parts of function of my cellphone , which were to connect with network. I was surprised with that. I asked why my cellphone didn't work properly. I had to contact friends to hang out the next day. My parents said that they had stopped paying money for the bill of cellphone because I hadn't studied for a log time. They had been worried about my test results. Since then , I had to start new life without cellphone. I studied very hard to get a cellphone again , but I couldn't prove the effort for tests and I couldn't have it during junior high school life. After that I got into high school. I could get a cellphone again. In my family rules , children can get a cellphone when they become a high school student. I changed a company supplying cellphones. First time, I used a cellphone produced by au by KDDI , but I decided to use a cellphone produced by DoCoMo. The company have popular in Japan . It often tries to make uses happy by making innovative cellphones or offering cheaper services than any other companies. The next cellphone was thinner than the first one. It had useful function. The useful function WAS useful then , not now. though. The function was high speed internet. When people want to use the internet without stress , they want cellphones to connect the internet quickly. The cellphone could download 3.6MB file per one second in theory. The speed was extraordinary at that time. I was also astonished. I could use it during all of days of high school life. There were many memories in it.  I took many pictures with it. It was fun and made me happy. Finally the broke down suddenly.

Current cellphone I use has strange function which is separable. This function is used to use two parts of cellphone at the same time, for example , when wanting to see schedule calling someone , not strange cellphone can't ,but the cellphone can because of this function. I have not used this function so far. i wonder when I use this function. I think the period of time of cellphone may be over before I use this function.

Korea and Korean

Although I have never been to Korea , I like Korea and Korean people. I can't live with out Korean people. I think Korean people are very smart. All of Korean people I have ever seen and heard are smart.

In Korea , TOEIC is very popular. The average TOEIC score of examinees are higher than that of Japanese people. The results of TOEIC strongly affects job hunting. If they want to get a high salary job , it is imperative for them to get 900 points on TOEIC test. Sometimes cheating is discovered.

I think Korean people are good at concentrating on one thing , for example , some people are good at English very much . Average score of all of English examinations English- learners take is of course higher than Japanese people's score. When they decide to do something , they don't stop or give up something till they can do it partially. I have to respect part of Korean's great eagerness. Compared to them , Japanese people tend to be lazy once they are faced with difficulties including me. In my case , I was faced with a difficulty of a subject which is related to electricity when I was a high school student. I gave up it soon and started to study English.

Now the secretary of the united nations is a Korean person , Ban ki-moon. He has big right to keep piece. The position is very high and Japanese people have never been entrusted. This is a part of thing Korean people are proud of. I hope a Japanese person would be in the position. It is hard to be the position though.

I imagine Kimuchi which is a kind of pickle with Korea. Kimuchi is popular in Japan. I eat it often with rice morning. It make me awake because it is hot.Other things , many foods of Korea are famous for Japanese people for example , Korean seaweed , chizimi which seems Korean Okonomiyaki and so on. Many materials contain in chizimi. It is healthy food. When I don't have appetite , I eat it and I feel better.

Korea is close to Japan and Japanese people often visit there recently because Korean pop is becoming popular among Japanese people more and more. Although  I am not a Korean pop fan , I know some Korean pop music members like syouzyozidai , KARA , BIGBANG and so on . I a little like Korean pop music.

Korea has strong baseball team . The team competed with Japanese baseball team in 2010 at final match of world baseball classic (WBC). Unfortunately , Korean team lost , but the match was very nice. I have never seen such a nice game ever since.Regardless of complicated problems    

 between Japanese government and Korean government , they played a nice game.

There are many problems between Japan and Korea. In the past , Japanese people died many Korean people during a war and colonize there for a while. I think Japanese have to apologize to Korean people and compensate for it. Japanese government have ever done many times but they 

 haven't tend to forgive us. 

Although I love Korea and Korean people , most of korean people hate Japanese people according to a report conducted by a company of Japan. The fact that Korean people hate us prove not only the report but also demonstration happened sometimes when Japanese famous soccer player , singer .actors visit Korea. This is because simply Korean people hate us. I wondered why Korean people so hate us even now and I searched on the internet. I found some reasons. When Korean people are from primary school students to high school students , they are taught history of Korean in which they learn of course wars between Korea and Japan in a way having a kind of tendency. I don't know the way to teach students is good or not , but I don't agree on it. In Japan , a way to teach wars is totally different from that of Korea. When I was younger , I was taught that wars were bad and people mustn't do it not having tendency at all.

Recently , the way in Korea is changing , and thoughts of Korean people for Japanese people are also changing in a good way. I want to communicate with Korean people friendly. I wish complicated problems between two of them would change completely.

Prejudice

People  at least have a prejudice. Because of it , many people have to worry about it , and it makes them difficult to live.

I tend not to have any prejudice. I sometime hear about a gay from friends. I am asked what I would do if I had a gay friend. I always answer that I don't care about it. I think a gay is not problem at all . Instead of it , having a prejudice for gay is a problem. In my case , I don't have any gay friends , but even if I had such friends , I talk to them hang out with them just like not gay friends. I don't want to hang out with them only two though. I wonder that this is a kind of discrimination.. I think it is very hard for me to communicate with them naturally. I don't get used to talking to them , so I often talk to a friend of mine about it. He has a gay friend. He live in  another prefecture and goes to university. The gay friend is very open as I hear from him. I think it is better than hiding it.

There are other prejudices. Some Japanese people tend to look down on black people. I hate it and I don't understand why they do. They probably have prejudice for them. When I talked an American about Japanese people , I was asked whether Japanese people look down on them or not. I couldn't answer clearly because I had seen some people looking down on black people. I sometimes hear or see that some people say some words indicated insults. I don't think all of people need to discriminate other people. I wonder that it makes people happy. Needless to say , having prejudice leads to discrimination and then discrimination leads to big trouble,for example , a war. Even if all of people are forced not to discriminate other people , people's thought wouldn't change or become worse. I have an idea that is all of people care about each other and cooperate with each other.

When I got into KGU , I experienced a prejudice. We met many students at KGU first time and asked which high school we graduate each other. I said the name of high school I graduated from. Some of people who asked me about it looked looking down on me . Actually , the high school I graduated is not good high school. There are many bad students who smoke , go out somewhere during a class there. Of course , such things don't match all of students in the school. I didn't match either. It may be fact that  some of students in the school are not good or very bad , but I want people to know that many students in the school are eager and serious. I got a little hurt by being looked down me.

In lives of people , it may be imperative to be discriminated by other people. This because some people discriminate other people and the other people hate some people and then more and more the other people discriminate some people. I think prejudice have been made by history.Although  it may be my prejudice , old Japanese people tend to have unfair ideas. Old people around me have terrible prejudice. For example , men shouldn't talk loudly. My grand parents said to me when I was primary school student. First time I heard that , I thought it was a kind of rule to live comfortably , but now I don't think so and it's a just prejudice or stereotype.

I learnt a one thing during a class in KGU. That is when people go somewhere they visit first time , they tend to have stereotype. For example , if a person meet a Japanese person who talks rudely and next time the person meet another rude Japanese person. The person thinks Japanese people are rude. It can't be helped. Because i have this knowledge , I tend not to think so when I go somewhere I have never been.

As a result , prejudice or stereotype like bad thoughts don't make good things at all. Even if people who look down on is happy by having them, other people don't feel absolutely. I hope someday everyone feels happy without them.To improve the world , we should do something very small but change our thoughts.

An Important Interview

The first activity from the beginning of summer vacation was an interview. The interview was planned one day from a call. One day during first semester , I received a phone call . I tried to ignore  it , but it rang for a long time. I picked up and was asked to take part in an interview . I had to decide whether I took part in it or not during the phone conversation. I asked what to do. I was said that I have to introduce six books to high school and university students. I didn't read any books during high school life , so I was confused with making decision. Finally , I said yes.

After the phone conversation , I was very busy for preparing many tests of final exam. I had no time to prepare for the interview , but I asked some friends what kind of books they read during their high school life. All of them read books seemed difficult to read , so those suggestion were not useful. Sometimes I received a call from someone who asked me to do it. She is in public relation department of KGU. I tried to cancel the interview when I received phone call , but She sounded I couldn't cancel anymore.

The more time past , the more the day of the interview closed. Anyway I looked for books which are suitable for students. I asked librarian in KGU library what kinds of books there are in library.
They are nice to me ,but they couldn't answer my question. I had been worried about the interview all the time before I took part in it. The day of the interview decided. The day was 5th August.

I went to KGU to take part in it ,and it was going to start at 15:30. I went there at 13:00 to be able to do something for it. While I was waiting for a person who interviewed me , I was sleeping at a seat, I didn't prepare for it at all and I felt nervous. She was outside of library 15:30 on time and I met her . I wanted to know one thing that is why I was chosen to take part in the interview. I asked her why. Because she does not belong to KGU , she didn't know in detail.She is a just professional writer.

We did interview in the library with the beginning of introduction of ourselves. She asked me to introduce three books for high school students. Actually , I could finally prepare three books. These books might not be suitable for introducing to high school students , but I like them. When I tried to introduce them , her face looked doubtful , I felt awkward.I introduced a English grammar text book first. The book is very famous and useful. I often recommend it to not only high school students but also university students that they should read the book when they want to study English from the beginner level. In the book , English grammars are explained plainly. I often used it when I was a high school student and face difficult questions. Now I am using another English grammar book though. I had thought the text book is the most great English grammar book before I found the other English grammar book. She was surprised with my explanation. I talked about the book very eagerly and  seriously. Second , I introduced a book whom I lent from my brother. The book is popular book and called BOX. In the book , a boy is featured and he likes boxing to fight with strong boxers. Third , I introduced a world famous manga , one piece. The manga is written in English. English learners who like reading one piece can study English by reading it with English  Japanese dictionary or without it. She looked impressed with the way to study English. She said that she is studying English watching TV program of NHK, little charo in which a small dog is featured.

Although I had to introduce other three books , I had to introduce just books simply. That's why I just needed three books' explanation in detail. Totally , I could enjoy taking part in the interview. If I have such an opportunity again , I want to accept to do.

Finally , I was taken some pictures to put in a newspaper of KGU.

A Party On 3rd August

On 3rd August, It was the day of the final test of final examination taken. I took it. After that , I went to a teacher's house to attend a party. The party is held monthly and I can practice English there. Also I can communicate with some of guys who are not second year students in English department. When I went there, there four people there including me. One of them is the senior of mine and he belongs to KGU yet. The name of his sounds similar to my name, So sometimes a teacher of speaking class make mistake to call my name. I am sometimes called different name. Because I am sensitive to notice something strange , I can respond soon when the teacher say different name. The game had been already being held before I arrived there. They are playing a game I had never seen. In the game ,there are five kinds of cards. The number from 1 to 12 are written in each cards. Strongest is 12. There are 60 cards used totally in the game. First , a person have to put one card a person want to put Second , next person have follow the card that first person put. If first person put a card is red and 5 , next person have to put a card which is red and stronger number than 5.After all of players put cards , the person who put the card in which written smallest number can get a card strongest card and people who put the strongest card can get other three cards  The procedure continues by the end. While players continues the game , they can't follow the rule which player follow the card. Then they ignore the rule and put the any card they want to. How to win is that collecting cards. If there are same two same color two cards in a player hand , the player can count the points looking at the number written in cards , but if a player have more than three same color cards in hand , the player have to count the points counting the number of cards.They looked fun. After they finished the game wholly , I joined . I could enjoy and win. It was fun,and I want to play it again.

After the game , we talked for a while. about what was going on. I heard that one of them is going to move to another prefecture to work there. He said that he will return in six months. I was really sad to hear that. Because of it , we can 't see at a party monthly , but I said to him that he expect six months later I will improve English skills during the period. He looked he was looking forward to it.

During the talk among them , the teacher asked him whether relatives or family members live there. He answered that a girlfriend live there. Everyone was surprised to hear that. Actually , he wanted to mean that a female friend lives there. The teacher noticed it soon . According to him , Japanese people often say girl friend when they want to mean female friend. I think it is a part of important thing when people talk .

I could eat dinner there.  The dinner was hot dog. The sausage in the hot dog was imported from U.S. I had never eaten real hot dog before I ate it. It was very delicious and I ate extra one.While we were eating , we talked about CHUCK. CHUCK is an American popular drama. There are four seasons in this drama. I like it , and the teacher also like it. The teacher have watched it till the middle of season 2nd. I have watched it end of season 3rd so far, so I tried to say something he didn't know , but he stopped that. This is because we could enjoy talking about it , we'd decided to see it after the dinner. We watched chapter 7 of season 2nd. Although I had already watched it before , it was fun. I thought it is fun to see it again and again even if I have seen it.

The teacher also said that he is going to disaster areas of Japan during summer vacation to volunteer victims. I was impressed with that. I might almost forget the disaster happened. I don't have plan to go there , but I thought that the teacher volunteer them having a fun.I am looking forward to hearing what the teacher experience during the volunteer some day.

A War

There were many wars happened around the world. This is because a person or organization wanted to rule other countries and colonize. I wonder why they didn't care other people. They were so selfish that they could do it. Including Japan , All of the developped countries were strong countries. They fighted with other countries and beated. Probably Japan was weak country part of fighting.

Many people die and much money is spend if a war begin. All of people don't need to die during a war. However, many people died in the most of wars. When a war begins , people are just like human. More and more time past, they change and they whatever they want or want to do. I think there is no good point in any wars. Even if there is only one good point in a war , there are many bad points in a war.

My parents of parents experienced a war which is WWⅡ. They hadten talked to me about the situation during the war. They couldn't watch the TV. They didn't know how to read and write letters when they were children. Their lives were terrible. I can't imagine how they survived their lives. I think modern people can't survive the situation as same as the situation my parents of myparents survived.

Presently some wars are keeping going. A part of region in a country is doing a war so that it is able to be free from the country. If it wins the war , it may be ale to independent of that country , but there is a problem.
After it becomes free , they have to be admitted that the regin is free by other countries. Unless it is recognized as a country , it can't add to the UN.  I don't know yet  good points are by adding to the UN. I'm sure that there is something good in the UN.

In the UN , there is an action for keeping the world piece. That is called Piece Keeping Operation (PKO). In this action , people try not to happen any wars and they try to help people who are dying around the world.
A war make differencies among the countries that did wars. If a country win a war, it can get much money or huge area ,but if a country lose , it has to do whatever the other country said. War is stupid action I have ever heard.

In my experience , I have never experienced any wars before, but I have learnt many things related wars. The more I learn about them , the more I think that I don't need to learn about them because most of people who are teenagers don't know real war or haven't experienced it before.That's why we can be friendly with other people not knowing anything related to a war.

I think some hates exist because many old people teach young people about tragedy. It may be better knowing something deeply than not knowing at all . However , if no one knows about what a war is , we can build good relationship with other people.

People should share anything with other people. We can't live without any help. If a person refuse an offer from another person , the person want it absolutely. People had better see the world more widely and then people can understan each other.

Many wars have ever happened because of conflicts among religions. Because I don't believe in anything , I think they are a little bit strange. Tehy didn't have to do a war. They should have talk to each other why they got angry. Although it was more complicated than I expect ,  I think it was necessary for them to fight with each other;.

Japan is very weak country for any wars. Japan tries not to have any weapons to fight other countries under the Japanese constitution. I agree on Japanese action. If a situation in which Japan has to fight , it can't do anything for a war. It sounds Japan is an useless country when a war happen. It is the best. Every countrie should not have some weapons. It is important for them to deal with anything with talks.

Finally , I hope any wars will not happen in the future. I want to help not to happen it and live piecefully using my ability. There is a reason why I am studying English. It is that I want to know about the world information more widely with English.]

Looking Back To Final Examinations

There were some subjects of examinations during the period for final examinations. I guess I took examinations more. I will write this article as a reminder.

First , I took physics test. I didn't have to any pints on the test. In the physics class , the subject of teacher explained about how to get the credit. Students should come to class every week and take a very small test in which there is a one question. The question is related to the contents he talks during the class. Because of it , if students take classes seriously , we can get 60 points without the tests. It means that we already have points which are equal to the points of a grade , C. I don't care about the grade of credits. That's why I could earn 60 points during the classes totally. The test was difficult. The form of the test was open book and I brought all of pieces of paper which were distributed. I couldn't understand even the questions. I was a little shocked with that. I took the classes very eagerly sitting a seat in front of the teacher very closely.

The next day , I took chemistry test. This subject was same way as physics class. I took classes everyday and took a small test. The small tests were difficult even though I heard what the teacher said completely but I didn't understand them at all though.The teacher is unique. Although
he gave us questions to make us earn points for getting the credit , the teacher gave some of us the answers of the questions by the end of classes every week. Because of help of my friends and the teacher , I could all of the questions given during the classes. I could earn 60 points. I was sure that I can get a credit , but there is a rule in KGU. Students have to take final examination however many points student gets during class. Finally , I took the test. I didn't did it well. I just wrote something I heard during the class and filled blanks with words I thought they are proper. I don't think I could get good grate of credit.

On the same of the day I took chemistry test , I took the subject which is a kind of special. It is call the ethic of international organization. The subject of teacher was very loose for chatting among students , but he decided the form of the tests depending on attitudes of students for his class. As a result , it ended up with open book test. I have been interested in this subject and I was looking forward taking this test but I couldn't answer a few questions with confidence. In the test , I had to write what the Secretary General do in the UN. I was confused with how I should have explained about it. I have not found the correct answer yet. I could answer some other questions , for example, how many countries are in the UN. The correct answer is 193 countries so far. The number of countries are different depending on the time to time. I asked some friends what they answered the question. They said they answered 192 countries. I wonder that which answers will become the correct answer. I think both of them are correct answer because the teacher taught us that the number of countries in the UK is 192 during a class. To be more exact , the number of it is 193 from 12th July according to a piece of news. After taking the test , A friend of mine looked disappointed with the test. He said that he might not be able to get the credit. I was not sure whether I could get good score either.

The next period on the same day , I took the special subject test. It is extremely hard for me to explain what the subject is. I think the subject is combined sociology with something mysterious. I could understand a little because I took sociology class. The contents of it was similar to sociology
class. I had to explain some words which were explained during classes in the test. I couldn't do it at all. Instead , I wrote many words explaining how nice the class was.

I got that I didn't do the tests well by looking back to the test. They were difficult for me. There is an only reason why they were difficult for me. I just didn't study for them. I had been studying for TOEIC. This might cause bad results of the final examinations.

Taking Roles In Our Lives

When people live somewhere , people are forced to do something with others. Then people have to behavior their styles  or other ways.

In my case , when I see professors , I feel nervous and I can't become able to speak well. The situation is awkward. I don't know what to say not bothering them. I often think how to solve the situation. I have two ideas. It is that I talk to them imagining they are my friends. There is a flaw in the idea. When I talk to my friends , I tend to talk to them roughly, not formally. That's why if I talk to professors in the way , they would get angry. Because I am not good at talking to them , I avoid talking to them. Unless I have to ask something important or urgent , I don't try to talk to them. I respect some of them though. The other thing is that I think what I want to talk about and write down it on a piece of paper. It is a good idea I've ever caught up with. I have never challenged the idea. I guess if I do it , they would look at me wonderingly.It is hard for me to solve this awkward situation.

In another situation like chatting between me and good friends , I don't care anything. When I want
to stop talking to them , I stop it naturally without hesitation. Even if I a little think I should not stop it at the moment , it's a small potato. I forget it soon. When I talk to not good friends. I mean not good friends are people who are not friends of mine closely like classmates or just students in English department.I want to talk to them friendly smiling. It is more hard for me to make this situation better now than I solve the problem which is chatting between me and professors.I try to make them laugh but I  don't know them deeply. That is to say , I have to find what they want to talk about miraculously. It sounds not difficult, but it is complicated. This is because there are various traits they have each other. I have to know tendency of their preference. I know some simple preference of people. If I want to talk to a people who look a Otaku member , I would talk about anime , cartoon or something related to Otaku. In this case, I have confidence to talk to them friendly because I have some knowledge and I can respond what they say quickly. As long as they get tired of talking to me , I can continue talking to them. I don't have confidence at all to talk to girls whom I meet first time. I am a teenage boy. I have some opportunities to talk to teenage girls. When I got into KGU , students had to introduce ourselves each other. I of course did it feeling embarrassed. I didn't know what they were thinking.. They were very cold for me. I was disappointed my KGU life then. In English department, most of students are girls. Boys don't have rights to do something aggressively. In the case of making them annoyed , we can't be there anymore. We, boys , have to make good relationships with girls. I think it may be a kind of Japanese culture though, talking to many girls looks not good. This means that we have to make good relationships with girls and care whether we talk to too many girls at the same time. How many girls are too many when we talk to? I don't know it. It depends on people. If we are thought    
by girls that we talk too many girls , the rumor spreads rapidly and we can't be there anymore. I find a good idea to deal with the situation. It is that I don't talk to girls when I don't need to talk to
them and when I talk to them , I talk to them very friendly. It is very nice. That's why most of girls
 may not recognize me ad a person who often talk to girls. This idea will make me easy to live KGU.

Finally , we should try to talk to people in good ways. I think if I continue it , I would get a good chance. I don't know what it is though. My parents often say to me that It is better to make good relationships. People should change their characteristics to do it well.

Something Leads To Something

When I was a second year junior high school student , I met an ALT first time. I had never been interested in English at all. It had been a just strange sound for me before I started to sstudy English. The ALT is the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. I mean I felt in love with her.I wanted to communicate with her. I went to teacher's room very often to see her. I just saw her , and she made bitter smile at me. I didn't know how to communicate with foreigners like her. I didn't know anything. I asked an English teacheer how to study English. The teacher lent me an English grammar text book which is very famous for Japanese English learners especially for high school students. I read it all the time when I had a little free time. I transcribed all the words in the text book to some note books. I spent almost 180 days to do it. It was hard and tiring but I thought that I could become able to talk to her fluently. It was not enough to talk to her because I didn't know English words very much and how to talk. When people talk to other people first , people usually greet tthe other people roughly or formally. It depends on age. I didn't even know that. I was so optimistic that I didn't remember how to communicate with people first. Anyway , one day I tried to talk to her in JAPANESE. She looked she didnT understand what I said at all. An English teacher was beside her, so She interpret what I said into Emglish. After that I had some opportunities to talk to her. She looked she didn't like to talk to me. I though it was because of  lack of my English skills. I decided to study English eagerly , not loosely.


A desire I wanted to talk to her led to a desire I want to pass an examination of the second level of Eiken. Eiken is used to measure English learner's ability. The range of Eiken level from 5th to 1st. 1st level is the highest level.There was a reason why I took the level of Eiken. This was because an English teacher was sure that I might be able to pass it when I was a second year high school student. Before I took it , I didn't take countermeausre for it. I had thought it is very easy and I had had confidence. Unfortunately , I failured two times. the result of it I took first time is so bad as I can't tell anyone.Finally I could pass it by the end of the high school life.


The examination have led to another examination. After having passed it , I got a piece of information about TOEIC. I informed of what I passed  to the English teacher who supported me when I was in high school , she was suprised to hear that. She said that she had not thought I was able to pass it by the end of high school life. She suggested TOEIC to me. She had taken it before she suggeted it to me. Her score is around 750. She looked very smart after I heard it.  I sweared that I get over 750 points by the end of university life.


TOEIC led to making a friend. I got into KGU after high school in 2010. I met a boy. He looked smart. He knew evrything deeply more than me. I was jealous of his ability. One summer day , he ran to me smiling and having something. I asked him what happened to him. He answered my quetion looking very happy. He received TOEIC result in which a high score were written.The score was the highest score first year students had got. He made it. I was impressed and became jealous more. I wanted to compete with him with English skills. I had to catch up with his English. I studied hiding from him. I improved day and day. Finally I took it on 26th November. The result is 765. It was not bad , it was not good for me because I couldn't win him, but he admitted my effort and have talked to me friendly since then.


Something absolutely leads to something. I lead to people and the people lead to other people. Because of it, I can improve myself and go forward. If I don't lead to anything , I can't do anything. It is a kind of important thing.

BR 2-04: Super Fit

When people are in from elementary school to high school, I'm sure they have some days when they don't want to go there. Even if they go there, they refuse to take classes. When I didn't want to go to school, I ignored what my parents said for a long time. When they gave up making me go to school, I could sleep in my bed all day. When they didn't gave up and I gave up, I had to go to school and then I didn't want to take classes. I just liked to eat lunch though. After arriving at school, I had to apologize for having been late and I could go to the class my classmates were. I didn't like the procedure. During classes, I wanted to sleep and felt bored very much. Most of teachers in my school were very strict to me. I was kept eye out on. Every time  something bad happened, I was asked that I did them. That's why I tried to skip classes many times and I couldn't catch up with school study. 

In this book, a boy is featured in. I feel sorry for him. If you are attracted why I feel sorry for him, please read this book. This book is very easy.

BR 2-03: SECRET AGENT

This book is so interesting. As this title shows, main character in this book is a secret agent. Before he became, he had trained a lot. Because he is a secret agent, he had to carry his missions hiding from public world. One day, he received some useful and special tools from a researcher who supports him with latest tools. After he received the tools, interesting story started. When I was a child, I watched many science-fiction movies. Then I though that I would become people featured in the movies Now I'm not such people,but even now I hope I come to be such people in the future. I am studying English and I will get many pieces of information on how to become them in English.

I recommend that people read this book. I think many people enjoy this book and feel nostalgic. The older we gets, the more we tend to concentrate on something real like studying our major. We should  

 have a break sometime. I'm sure that this book gives you a comfortable time with simple English.

I read this book because I like something scary. After reading this book, I thought this book was interesting. Although the title of this book is not related to the core of this book's story, this book makes me think how readers attract when people choose books. When people want to read books, I think , people choose them by seeing the title of books. If someone wants to read scary book , they choose books by seeing the title with the word,scary, or scary words. This book, scary movie, is unpredictable story.If I were main character of this book, I would do same act as her. I want to tell about the story of this book now, but please read this book by yourselves. This book is written in easy English and very short. I think it takes 5 minutes or 10 minutes to read this book. It's easy. Please try it.

Essay 2-01a: my favourite place

I'd like to introduce about my favourite place, English lounge. There is a lounge called English Lounge in 1st building of KGU. Many people especially KGU students or graduated students often go there and talk to each other in English. Sometimes most of them talk to each other in Japanese. It's not good thing in English lounge because English lounge exist to improve people's abilities of English. If people don't try to speak English in English lounge, existence of English lounge is completely nonsense.

What people do in English lounge is not only talking to each other but also giving presentations about international students' countries, watching movies, holding  parties like halloween party and christmas party. There are many activities to do English lounge. This semester, because of most of international students coming to English lounge, it makes easier for some Japanese to come there. I want more students to come to English lounge but it is difficult for me to gather just only students who are interested in English.
I think when some students hear about  what English Lounge is, they maybe come to English  even if they don't like English very much. I want students who are interested in English to come to English lounge.

In English lounge, there is a workshop called TOEIC workshop. I am a host of that workshop. The aim is to improve our English skills and TOEIC score by doing something fun. I held it on 14th October. A few people came and looked eager. I was so impressed with their attitude and I had misunderstood that there had been no person who wants to study English for TOEIC.

The most enjoyable activity in English is event held regularly such as Halloween party. This year, it is going to be held on 25th October from 6:30. The good point is free. Every student can attend it witghout money. Even if people have no money, they can enjoy it.

The most crowded time in English lounge is lunch time. Everyone is free during lunch time and they look relaxed. I often go there during lunch time. When I go there then, I see some of international students and watch promotion videos on youtube and talk to them. I think English lounge is the nicest place to improve English skills in KGU enjoying using English.

BR 2-01: Renovations

This story is just funny.  I often see many situations in which the main character experiences in the book. This story is similar to a famous story but both endings are totally different. The other one is happy ending and this story is...? Please read this book if you are interested in. You may read and enjoy this book easily. If I could get a lamp in which someone who make my wishes, I  ask for them to make myself become educated person. This is my only hope so far.

Reflections on Writing III

I learnt an important part of how to write English sentences. That was very new for me and it was hard for me to understand. The more I write articles , the more I improved English skills ,especially English grammar. Writing articles in English makes me write by using just my own skills not relying on a teacher. It is a kind of good experience for me. I tried to write articles with new words I learnt then. I may forget most of words used in my blog but when I see them again somewhere I could remember soon I hope. I was glad that the mood in the class was so nice sometimes some students are a little annoying. In classes , I was writing new articles or editing what I had written before.

Big Earthquake in Japan

One day , a day came when big earthquake happened. At the same time it happened , many people  worried  that big tsunami happen next. Unfortunately Guess of them was completely right. When they happened , I was watching them on TV , and I thought they were small potato and Japanese government manage to deal with them soon. My idea was very stupid. It was definitely not. There were many scary visions about the earthquake. The most impressive ision I saw were that many cars were hit by tsunami and went into the sea. They looked very small car like toy cars. After watching them , my family members were scared of them. I had never thought such a thing really happen in real world before they happened. I have watched such disasters in movies , but I have never thought about them seriously.I becam scared of them. Theyaffected many things. Japanese economy was suddenly down. Because Nuclear plants broke down completely , they should be repaired soon. It was really hard to do it with latest technology. TECOM use nuclear plants to supply people with a lot of electrocity, but they don't know how to control them perfectly. That's why bad subtance from nuclear plants leaked and the comanpy have been being blamed for it.

I think all of people hope that they will never happen in the future.I also hope so, but I learned two important things  because of the disasters . First People have to spend their life enjoying them. We don't know when disasters , or something dangerous happen. If they don't enjoy their lives, they feel stressful when disasters happen again and they may kill themselves. Second , we can cooperate with each other whenever we need help. I thought I live in a team in the world. The UN have been helping Japan recover from the disaster. Americanmilitary also help to clean out the debris. They do so under the strategy called helping friends. because of them, Various things ended more than critics expected. Many people around the world contributed much money to the disaster areas. Contribution of  Lady Gaga was unique. She held a big concert in which she requested that Fans buy wrist bands which were cheap. Although the wrist bands were cheap , much money gathered because many fans buy them. Japanese entertainment did their best to support disaster victims.I don't remember when a piece of infomation was reported , but this was that much money have been collected but they couldn't be offered till they are decided how much money are offered per one person or one family. The Japanese entertainers decided not to contribute money to the disaster victimes. They tried to offer them foods, bedclothing. While some popular entertainers decided to do so , president of a company decided to contribute 10billion yen totally by the day of his retirement.

The disasteres have affected Japan very badly. TV program kept broadcasting boring TV programme for some time. This was because TV programme producer cared about the disaster victims. As a result, it was not good for Japanese economy. They have not become able to earn money by doing it. Mass media also worried about them, but they try not to stop publishing fun articles. I think People look forward to entertainments or something fun whatever happen around them.

Altershock has been continuing in the disaster areas, but the disaster victimes are very patient and they can deal with them supported by people. As long as they live, they can do something to live. I want to support them someday. I have to become an educated person to help them. It may be hard for me to do that so, but it is not impossible.

I think it is hard for me to care about disaster victimes because I have never experienced such things. Though I said that I was scared of them above, the disaster victimes were more scared of them because they experienced the disaster. It is easy just to say what I want to do for them, but it is very hard to do what I want to do. I don't think I can help them till I grow up.

When evrything is recovered, they would be happy and live with hope. I am looking forward to the day.

Today's topic is a kind of serious thing. i will be faced with such things in the future then I can do. It depends on who I would be. I want to dicuss it with my friends in English.

English Grammar and Open Campus

Before I went to open campus of KGU with my friend , I studied English grammar. I learned how to use can , could , must and shall in English. Recently I am studying English in English. A textbook of English grammar I am using is written in English. When I was a high school student , I studied English grammar very much. I just only studied it. I had believed that English grammar is the most important to use English before I noticed that I should study English using all skills like writing , speaking , listening , reading. When I started to study English, all of materials I used were explained in Japanese. 

It was easy for me to study English grammar. Now I think it was not enough to make me to understand how to use English grammar or understand real meaning of English written or spoken. I often make many grammatical mistakes , but I had been confident before I started to use the textbook. I had known how to use can in just only one way before i . When I use can , I had used it as a replacement of be able to.That's why when I want to say that I have ability to swim , I am able to swim or I can swim. It sounds like they have same meaning for me , but it's not true. What I learnt  

 today is subtle difference of nuance. I don't have to care it if what I want to do is just to communicate with native speakers simply not deeply. I want to understand what they say truly. It is the biggest dream I want to come true in progress of my English skills. Anyway I became able to 

understand a little how to use them. I wonder when I can understand simple English. I am going to continue studying English till I can do that.

After that , I went to the very enjoyable event, open campus. It was held on 31st July. There had        

already been many people in KGU before I cam there. I saw  high school students or adults consulting professors about KGU. They looked very serious. I was not like them when I was third year high school student. I wanted to become a university student. I didn't have any plan what subjects I major in university. I was going to a technical school of English to which people go for only two years. I didn't want to go to a school or university only for two years. I have had a plan. It is secret though.Anyway , people consulting was very serious and professors also answered their questions seriously in students cafeteria. It was the time of lunch At the time when I and my friend arrived there.. I noticed soon that many people were in a row for foods. They were visitors of KGU open campus. I wasn't like them , but I wanted to eat lunch for free. Fortunately , I found a woman who is a senior student in English department and have part time job in KGU as a assistant of classes. I asked her how I can eat foods. She gave me a pamphlet in which there was a ticket. I could eat foods by replacing the ticket with foods. After replacing, I went to English lounge. There were more people than usual. I'was glad to see so many people. Although they looked nervous coming in English lounge , they were very eager for studying English and interested 

 in it . A girl was impressive for me. The girl was alone in English lounge. She tried to talk to me in English. I thought she couldn't speak English well just like me , she looked she wanted to get something important to decide her future. I wanted responded her attitude , but I don't know how well I could respond it. There were some English lounge staff members as KGU staff members then. They looked very hard explaining why English lounge is in KGU. They explained about it very understandably. Also a professor was there. He introduced some visitors about me when I was there when I was eating lunch. It is strange isn't it? Usually , People who eat during open campus were visitors or people wearing red polo shirts. I was not wearing red polo shirt but a visitor. They were surprised that I am a student of KGU and was not a staff member, and was eating lunch. All of people I talked were very friendly and eager. I was looking forward to seeing them next year when they get in KGU. 

As a result, I thought I should have visited KGU before I decided which university I go. Open campus was very nice and all of staff members of it were also nice. If I can be a staff member of it next year , I will do.

From Period Of Part Time Job Of Yesterday To Today ( Sequel )

We went to Ezu lake. Actually I didn't explain about the shape of it. It consists of two parts which are extremely different. At first, one part is bigger, more dirty, less people than the other part. The other part is we wanted to go.Because Ezu lake is so huge, I couldn't navigate my friend correctly, and we got lost to even just go to the simple destination. That's why we became bored more and more. He suggested me that we go to a Zoo and Botanical garden fast. As our plan, we were going to go there after having caught some creature at Ezu lake. We could go there easily. Probably, he already knew the way to the Zoo and Botanical garden even though I navigated him with my cell phone. He looked very happy when we arrived there. It was very hot and I was reluctant to go into it
 because I imagined that we have to walk long way to see many animals without fun but sweating a lot. I tried to suggest him that we stop to enter but I couldn't do it. He was so happy. After entering there , there was a boring vision which was a few people were and facility looked very out of date. Almost of all facilities were old with rusty. I didn't think some of attractions met safety standards. I mean they are dangerous if adults ride with their. children, but my friends suggested me to ride them, I said no quickly without hesitation. He looked a little bit sad. Fast we saw carps at very dirty pond. I said that I wonder why carps can live in so dirty pond. there is a man who is a staff member of the facility. He was staring at me while I was saying it. I heard it from my friends after he had gone somewhere. I did bad thing. I didn't mean to annoy him. After seeing them, we saw horses. they looked very tired and didn't do anything. They were just lying on the ground. There was the man next place we went. There was a flock of sheep with the man. The man looked mad at me, but he talked to me very friendly. We could touch them. They were  very calm and they looked very hot. After that, we had nothing to watch and just walked around. While we were walking around, we found a bulletin board on which a notice was put The notice announced that visitors can contact with hamsters at 13:30. It was 13:00. when we saw it. I was dying because I was so thirsty, but my friend were very glad with it. That's why we went to a place to contact with them. The place was heaven for us. There was air condition in it. I recovered. Although we had to wait standing to contact them, it was worth having done so. My fiend suddenly remembered that we didn't see any popular animals like lions , giraffes , gorillas , monkeys and so on. We tried to find them. We found the place they are and the place are close to the place we were. I was impressed with elephants. They were bigger than I expected and they looked very stiff. My friend was also amazed that the elephants are so big. He  tried to take pictures of them calling them loudly. I think all of pictures of them are not good because at the time he tried to take pictures, they moved around. After that, we went to see lions, tigers, gorillas. There were them there, but we couldn't see them clearly. It was boring ,but there were very small monkeys from rainforest close to them. They were very cute and pretty. They touched my fingers
 and they wouldn't leave my fingers. I was impressed with very much. I had never experienced such a thing before that. I want to show you how pretty they were. I have no pictures of them though.

 After we enjoy there, we finally went to Ezu lake. When we arrived there, I thought I should have bought a swimming wear at Youmetown and more net for my friend. We couldn't enjoy Ezu lake and I was injured there. In Ezu, there was not any good memories except for having been able to see some cute girls.

When we were on the way to my home, we bought some lunch at MacDonald's with drive through. It is first time that I ordered items with drive-through. I thought it was more hard to order items in the way than to order in person.

I suggest you to go to the Zoo and Botanical garden with friends, parents, boyfriend, girlfriend,anybody. Please don't go there alone. It maybe makes you feel sad. Anyway you can get something good there.
