Esssay 2-02b: Robin Hood

Probably many people recognize Robin Hood as a famous person, but the origin of it is from an animal, a fox that worked with a bear, Little John. Robin Hood and Little John were good at stealing many things from the rich. After that they gave them to the poor. Because of Robin's actions, he was regarded as a hero by the poor, while he was regarded as annoying fox by the rich. There was a reason why they were good at stealing money. It was because they were also good at disguise.

One day,  they stole something worthy from a king who loved money very much. The king rules a place in which people were forced to pay much money and it made them difficult to live. While they were struggling to live in the severe environment, Little John and Robin Hood appeared to help them. Robin Hood pretended to be a augur, who stared at someone’s hands and said their future. While he pretended, he stole much money and distributed money around the town. Little John also worked as a guardsman of Robin Hood. As a result, it made people happy and the king annoyed.

There was a very cute girl in a castle. Her name was Marian which was also fox. She and Robin Hood loved each other  for a long time. They couldn’t see for a long period. That’s why she felt that he didn’t love her or forget her existence, but it was not true and he loved her. Marian had a close friend, Crack which supported their lovely relationship.

One day, Robin Hood heard about a rumor that a shooting competition had been going to be held. As a result, he could attend it and win. This competition was held to attract him by King who hated Robin.The king knew that Robin would win the competition before it was held and he tried to catch Robin after the competition,but he could escape from the king because of support of many people who lived in the country and loved Robin.

Robin’s action reminded me of a phrase said by Mother Teresa. She said: ‘if you want to be loved, you have to love. This phrase is applicable to his action. Actually, he didn’t hope that he was loved,but he was nice and as a result he was loved and he made many people happy. When he was in danger, he was helped by many people who loved or were grateful for Robin’s action. Robin did something morally right but he did something illegally wrong. That’s why I can decide whether what  he did was cool or not. 

We like this movie. We could learn about something we didn’t know and remind me of what justice is. Recently, I am studying the UN. The UN stands for the united nations which is one of the biggest organization to keep the world piece. I think the UN seems similar to Robin’s action because the organization tries to help many people improve their lifestyle and other many things,but there is a totally different point between the UN and Robin’s action which is that he did something for many people with courage and he didn’t expect any return from them,while the UN try to help people and developed countries develop more and earn more money. I sometimes forget what is right and wrong morally. I think I should do something morally right even it is thought to be bad from the vision of many people. I recommend that many people should watch this movie. Especially I want  this movie to be watched by teenagers. Teenagers have lived more than ten years and they have  opinions about what justice is. This movie gives them an opportunity to consider it again.

1-03b: Thematic Reviews of The Movie, Mrs. Doubtfire

In this movie, there are four main characters. They are family members each other.They have personality individually,and most of them are young. Their roles are father,  the father's two daughters, his son respectively. The father is featured on this movie mainly. He seems not good at communicating with people. Fast, he has a job as a narｒator. He is good at cheering up people by doing something fun.He quits it suddenly and he gets divorced. After that His sorry story starts.

Older one of two daughters of his are like a mother. She cares about her younger sister. When she eats dinner, she help her eat dinner by using spoon. Sometimes she is mad at her father because he
looks lazy. She also supports the father with organizing family members. She is very indispensable in his family.

A son is in puberty. He doesn't want to do anything told by father or older sister. He likes and respects the father. When he has to leave him, he looks very sad. The scene is very good. It may be a part of the scenes that you are moved. Usually, he doesn't try to do anything aggressively,but he expresses his real emotion in the scene.

Frankly speaking,  Younger daughter's role is not meaningful. I don't think the role is important for this movie.

This family members are faced with many problems, for example, they have to separate to live, the father has to find a new job and a place to live. I don't know what happen to them. In my opinion, American movies tend to make last part of movies happy,and make people who watches them happy.

I hope they finally feel happy. Each of them are not perfect and they have something improved. In father's case, he has to become good at communicating with people and care about his extra wife.
In the daughter's case, they should be more generous to the father. If they could become able to do it, the father would understand them.In the son's case, he should behave more like an adult. the problem will be solved easily because the more time he spends, thee more the way he thinks change. After his thought completely change, he can communicate with his father easily.

I learnt some things by watching this movie. That is I have to care about family members more carefully. Unless I do that, my family members are disgusted at me,but they will not express their real emotion because they are family.

1-03a: Thematic Reviews of The Movie, Mrs. Doubtfire

The movie is humorous movie. In the movie, a awkward family is featured. Especially, a father is awkward. Whatever he does is not made well. He seems that he is not good communicating with people. He can't communicate with family members, coworkers, but he tries to make people laugh. His actions to do them are just waste. I am sometimes like him. I hope that when I talk to people, especially friends of mine,I want to make them happy by talking about something funny,but whether I can do it depends on a situation in which people relax. I feel sensitive emotions of people sensitively. I think I am dull part of it. Most of friends of mine express their honest opinions by their faces, so I can understand how they feel by talking to me. There is a difference between me and the father. It is that he speaks English and I speak Japanese. Usually, Japanese culture is high context culture. American culture is low context culture,so I mean that it is hard for American to express what they want to inform with few words,but we can express it more easily than American.

Because the father is not good making good relationships with his wife and his workplace.,he has to get divorced with her and leave there. It is said that communication is the most important thing to survive over  future worlds. I understood the reason why many people who are older than 

me say that communication skill is important.It is very simple. It is essential that many people have to communicate with others to do something inevitable for them,for example, when they want to buy something, they have to talk to someone related the item they want. I think communicating is a part of a basic tool to live,but it is useful and essential.It is connected to my major subject. I am in English department in which communicating is considered as the most important thing. In the movie importance of communication is enhanced.

Finally, I expect that all of family members feel happy by  coming true their hopes,for example,in the father's case, his communication skill become surprisingly good. If so, their family will become a good family,and His extra wife will hear a rumor that he has changed his attitude. After that, she will come back to his house and fall in love with him again. It seems very happy end. I think this way to end the movie is definitely strange though.

Preview of Mrs. Doubtfire

I didn't hear most of the words people speak in the movie, so I am writing about the characters and mood of it.

I guess the kind of movie is family.There are main four people,father, two daughters , one son. Father looks
optimistic when he does anything. He sometimes irritates people around him. Older daughter is beautiful. She cares for brother and daughter. She loos taking a role of mother.Younger daughter looks very pretty. She speaks slowly and prettily. What I heard in the movies are her stuff to speak. A son looks like he is in puberty. When he see something,his face looks very serious.

Father's face is very similar to  a person in  a movie I watch during speaking class. Comparing with him, the person is strange person. He says suddenly he can fly many times.

I expect that all of family members feel happy and end up filling with smile.

I often watch movies, so I can't choose one movie to introduce.Most of the movies I like are American movies.

 Let me introduce iron man 1st. In the movie, A very smart man and him secretary are featured mainly. He produces latest weapons for government, and because of it , he is rich. One day, he notices that he wants to produce weapons for justice not for use of war.

He tries to experiment by his body. He looses his own important organ to attach the part with latest product which is to strengthen

A Letter to Housemates

I am pleased you have decided to let me stay at your home in Canada. How is the weather in Canada? In this letter, I want to introduce myself and everything related to me. I major in English at KGU where many students study English eagerly. I hope to be a member of them.Department of KGU consist of six departments which are Commercial Science department,Second Commercial department,the economics department,language department which I am in,social welfare department, KGU is a famous University in Kumamoto prefecture.Japanese Universities differ from Universities of Canada. Japanese universities usually start the semester on April.There are many differences between Japanese Universities and Canadian Universities that i would like to learn about. I enjoy to study English with friends who are kind and eager. A lot of teachers I am taught by  deserve respect. They have their own characteristic personality.

Also I want to inform you of my hobbies. When I have some free time ,I often read a variety of books from non-fiction to fiction. I will try to read The economics on the internet so that I become interested in knowing something happen around the world. Another my hobby is to collect information related to fashionable items such as caps,shoes,clothes,etc. I want to go abroad by saving money ,but I intend to spend money on fashionable items,so I need assist from parents part of even money.How style is fashionable in Canada? I also want to know that. Since I am native Japanese,I want to teach you something 


Japan or Japanese culture you want to know. What kind of Japan do you want to know. Let me introduce one thing about characteristic of Japan. Because Geological of formation of Japan is piled up intricately,More earth quake occur in Japan than Canada.Just because many earthquake occur in Japan Japanese people don't lay by them because earth quakes are so mysterious for example when and where occur
