1-03a: Thematic Reviews of The Movie, Mrs. Doubtfire

The movie is humorous movie. In the movie, a awkward family is featured. Especially, a father is awkward. Whatever he does is not made well. He seems that he is not good communicating with people. He can't communicate with family members, coworkers, but he tries to make people laugh. His actions to do them are just waste. I am sometimes like him. I hope that when I talk to people, especially friends of mine,I want to make them happy by talking about something funny,but whether I can do it depends on a situation in which people relax. I feel sensitive emotions of people sensitively. I think I am dull part of it. Most of friends of mine express their honest opinions by their faces, so I can understand how they feel by talking to me. There is a difference between me and the father. It is that he speaks English and I speak Japanese. Usually, Japanese culture is high context culture. American culture is low context culture,so I mean that it is hard for American to express what they want to inform with few words,but we can express it more easily than American.

Because the father is not good making good relationships with his wife and his workplace.,he has to get divorced with her and leave there. It is said that communication is the most important thing to survive over  future worlds. I understood the reason why many people who are older than 

me say that communication skill is important.It is very simple. It is essential that many people have to communicate with others to do something inevitable for them,for example, when they want to buy something, they have to talk to someone related the item they want. I think communicating is a part of a basic tool to live,but it is useful and essential.It is connected to my major subject. I am in English department in which communicating is considered as the most important thing. In the movie importance of communication is enhanced.

Finally, I expect that all of family members feel happy by  coming true their hopes,for example,in the father's case, his communication skill become surprisingly good. If so, their family will become a good family,and His extra wife will hear a rumor that he has changed his attitude. After that, she will come back to his house and fall in love with him again. It seems very happy end. I think this way to end the movie is definitely strange though.

Preview of Mrs. Doubtfire

I didn't hear most of the words people speak in the movie, so I am writing about the characters and mood of it.

I guess the kind of movie is family.There are main four people,father, two daughters , one son. Father looks
optimistic when he does anything. He sometimes irritates people around him. Older daughter is beautiful. She cares for brother and daughter. She loos taking a role of mother.Younger daughter looks very pretty. She speaks slowly and prettily. What I heard in the movies are her stuff to speak. A son looks like he is in puberty. When he see something,his face looks very serious.

Father's face is very similar to  a person in  a movie I watch during speaking class. Comparing with him, the person is strange person. He says suddenly he can fly many times.

I expect that all of family members feel happy and end up filling with smile.

Blogging quick write

I don't like to write anything for limited time, so I have to improve the part of writing skill. I like to write express what I want to inform but I can't think what I want to say quickly. If there is no rule how to write on the blog, I will write quickly it. Although i can't write good writing materials, I tend to obey the rules of writing. This is also a part of thing to improve English skill.

The reason why I  try to practice writing on the blog is simple. There are two reasons. First, it is a kind of assignment of writing skill. Unless I complete to write over 10000 words, I can't get the degree. I will keep writing some articles for it.

Second, I want to improve writing skill, how to use usage of English words and grammar, how to become able to think something in English I can say in Japanese.

I think It is very beneficial for me to keep writing something in English. I hope I could pass some difficult English examination, for example, IELTS, TOEFL ibt, CPE, SLEP 1st level. All of the tests I show require examinee high level writing skills. They require other high level ability though. For example, in SLEP test, examinees have to write a essay for a very short limited time. The time depends on examinees because the test is not separated time to solve each sections.

Finally, I try to write something funny, or informative for blog readers,but I don't think I have never done                  
it correctly,so recently readers don't increase and the members are same. I don't even know whether subscribers my articles. I think I don't have to care about subscribers because I write articles mainly for improving English skills.

The movie i like

I often watch movies, so I can't choose one movie to introduce.Most of the movies I like are American movies.

 Let me introduce iron man 1st. In the movie, A very smart man and him secretary are featured mainly. He produces latest weapons for government, and because of it , he is rich. One day, he notices that he wants to produce weapons for justice not for use of war.

He tries to experiment by his body. He looses his own important organ to attach the part with latest product which is to strengthen

BR 1-11: The Fabulous Story of Fashion

I don't know the reason why people started to wear clothes,but I understood by reading this book. The book cover is colorful and funny. It was very impressive for me,so I picked up and read.

Long time ago, people started to wear clothes in chilly areas. As you probably guess , ancient people also feel cool when it is cool,so they bothered about the cool environment. I think that the more people are faced with, the more they try to do something new to survive. That's why, one day a man chased an animal,and he thought that the animal seem not chilly.This is the beginning of wearing cloth. People made clothes with fur.

An example I explained is the story of chilly area all year round. In comparison to it, I think people in warm area were later to start to wear clothes because they didn't need to wear them,but they started to wear them to protect skin of people from sunshine. Most probable reason why they started to do so was that they wanted to make themselves cool.

After some histories elapsed, many histories about fashion had been made. "Fashion" is a common word for the present people,but it was absolutely special word for ancient people.

Meaning of fashion is usually related to clothes,accessories or something. They started to wear clothes to stay alive.Fashion was beyond minimum of their clothes. They had became able to enjoy choosing clothes because of develop of clothes industry.They chose material of clothes,color of clothes, tool to attractive themselves. When I have ever watched a TV program in which ancient people tried to wear tight clothes hard. They din't only try to enjoy wearing clothing but also they wanted attract people.To do so,they have to make them look beautiful. In my opinion their life styles were so hard that I may not able to overcome.

Finally,now all of the people around the world wear clothes. Some of the people try not to wear to call for a problem environment. They have been traveling around the world with naked riding a horse even now. Although their activity seems to be just very stupid,if people didn't start to wear clothes,their activity may be regarded as normal activity because no one wear them. I think that development of clothes are good and beneficial for us,but there are many problems to do so ,for example,it costs a lot of money, it is possible to destroy natural environment. 

By reading this book, you can get information you have never heard. It will interest you.I want you to read this book. It's in library.

Something stupid habit or wayｓ

I think I prefer American songs, especially pop, over Japanese songs overall. American songs usually consist of lyrics in English of all. Comparing with it, Current Japanese songs consist of lyrics both in English and Japanese. I think Current Japanese songs are stupid. They are hard for me to listen comfortably and understand easily it . There are many reasons why current Japanese songs consist of them.

First, japanese singers respect American songs. This is related to the time when the beginning of Japan after WW2 had finished. Japan has governed American government(GHQ general head quarters ) for a while. I don't know how long Japanese had been governed though. As soon as I get the information, I will post a blog about it. While Japan had been governed by American government,they learned anything new for them. Governed by American had not been ruled like a colony. That's why Japan has affected American culture, habits,language,anything. Because Japan had been done it, I think Japan could improve technology, lifestyle, and music.

Second, Japanese singers like to use English. Younger Japanese(under 50) people tend to use English. Older(over 50) Japanese people don't tend to use Japanese i turn. Although Japanese people like to use English, they don't like to study English.
The reason cause Japanese songs which consist of lyrics both in English a little and Japanese mostly. That's because they don't like to study English, Easy English words and sentences are used in their songs. When I go to university, I often listen to American pop music,for example, lady gaga, black eyed peas, Kanye West,and so on. Kanye West's some songs are funny.In his songs, Some Japanese phrases are used to attract Japanese fun. This is the only reason why I often listen to his songs.
Recently, The most interesting music group has been on a TV program. It is called " Syouzyo zidai". All of members of it can speak Korean,English,and Japanese. They has studied languages to be able to sing songs by using the language.In my opinion, Singing songs by using many languages can attract many fans all over the world. First singers make a hit in their country though.

Third, Some Japanese singers have ever lived in country where native English-speaker live.In fact, they are better at speaking English than Japanese. As you already know, we can soon distinguish songs by good English speaker from songs by not good English speaker by listening to their songs. There may be many reasons why they sing songs by half and half. Of course, they want to attract fans in Japan like "Souzyo zidai" as introduced above. Another reason is that they love Japan, their own country. Even if they don't be recognized formally. Their ancestors were Japanese people, and they look Japanese.

Last, Songs mixed some language often confuse me,but I don't hate it because I can understand Japanese songs more easily than American songs. I can find how I can't understand English , I don't have ability use English by listening to Japanese pop. I appreciate for Japanese pop.
