Be selfish to do something

I don't think there is no normal family in the world. I often wonder  what it  is normal about anything. I am writing about normal family I think. Each family has each problems. For example I often fight with my younger brother. Is this action normal? I don't know. I don't think it's normal. In my opinion, usually, most of people over 18 years old don't often fight,so my family is not normal or relationship between I and my brother is not normal. I often talk to best friend of mine about family members.His parents got divorced afer that he said "my family is noy normal, my family is just complicated." he became kind of sick since his parents had gotten divorced. I tried to hang out with him again and again,buut he refused many times. I asked him why he refuse many times. He answered that he has to think about family,so he can't hang out with me. What I want to say is "it is not good to think about family too much. It is good to think myself. It is selfish thing though.
